As we head into Tuesday night, more storms are continuing for the east/southeastern panhandles with the overall severity being limited to strong straight line winds, localized flooding and some hail.

As we're waking up Wednesday morning, we're seeing a little patchy fog behind a cold front up in the northwestern corner of the area, and thunderstorms to the south. We'll expect those thunderstorms to continue across a good chunk of the area with our primary threats being localized flooding and strong wind gusts. Rain chances will be on-and-off throughout most of the day.

A cold front has brought a massive push of cooler winds into the area, and they aren't going anywhere for a little bit. Winds will stay at around 15-25 mph for the rest of this evening and on into most of Friday with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Rain chances stay out of the forecast for now.

More cool air is funneling into the area going into our Friday evening, setting up a freezing start to the weekend. Thankfully, winds will be dropping off as we head into the evening period as temperatures drop into the 40°s.

We've been seeing more high clouds moving in as our Thursday reaches the evening timeframe. Going into Friday, we'll see more high clouds moving in, and a low chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms in eastern New Mexico. Temperatures will stay in the mid-70°s.

It's been yet another partly cloudy and pleasant, mostly fall-like temperatures Friday afternoon. As we go into the evening, we'll see temperatures dropping into the 60°s and then 50°s overnight.

We're waking up to solidly above average temperatures around the 50°s & 60°s, with high humidity, which is causing us to watch for perhaps some patchy fog around the area before sunrise. Any low clouds should burn off after sunrise before we get highs into the mid-to-high 70°s with breezy southwesterly winds at 10-20 mph.
