Showers are likely on Thursday. Light, spotty showers will be possible in the morning. Moderate to heavy rain will move in during the lunch hour on Thursday. Showers will continue through the afternoon and early evening. Showers will exit the KTTC region by 7 to 8 p.m.

Rainy conditions will continue into the evening for the KTTC region. Light to moderate rain is expected until around dinner time on Thursday. Showers will be light and spotty overnight into Friday morning.

Temperatures will fall right on the line between a standard freeze and a hard freeze in SE MN and NE IA. Temperatures will range from 28 to 32 degrees Saturday morning.

Tuesday's high temperatures will be in the upper 60s and low 70s across the KTTC region. Winds will range from 5 to 10 mph during the afternoon. Skies should stay mostly sunny throughout the daytime hours.

Wednesday's high temperatures will reach the low to mid-70s under mostly sunny skies. Southerly winds will range from 5 to 15 mph throughout the day.

Thursday's high temperatures will be in the mid-70s with mostly sunny skies. Winds will be calm for most of the day. Wind speeds might reach around 5 mph at times.

Saturday will be the “best chance” of tying or setting a daytime record high temperature. The current forecast is 75 degrees for the high. The current standing record is 76 degrees, set back in 1973.

Saturday's high temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 70s with windy conditions. Winds will be strong out of the south, 10 to 25 with gusts near 30 mph at times.

Long-range model guidance has showers breaking apart through the late afternoon and early evening on Halloween. Hopefully, by trick-or-treat time, showers will be spotty and light.

Right now, long-range models show the majority of the rain before 4 p.m. on Saturday. We'll see if this trend continues as we approach Halloween.
